Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · effective 4 August 2026 · applies to prosewealth.com
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage — browser storage that keeps values without sending them automatically to a server. This site uses both, as listed below.
2. The categories we use
- Strictly necessary — always active. Only what the site needs to work and to remember your cookie choice. Never used for analytics.
- Analytics — optional and off by default. Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager only after you consent.
- Marketing — not used on this site. No advertising or retargeting cookies exist here. If that ever changes, we will ask for consent again first.
3. How to accept, reject or change your choice
On your first visit a banner offers Accept all, Reject optional and Manage preferences — nothing optional runs until you decide, and continuing to browse is never treated as consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. You can additionally delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
4. What exactly is stored
| Name | Kind | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| prosewealth.consent | localStorage | ProseWealth (first-party) | Remembers your cookie choice (version, categories, date). Contains no personal details. | Strictly necessary | Until deleted; we ask again after 12 months or when categories change |
| prosewealth.campaign | sessionStorage | ProseWealth (first-party) | Keeps the campaign tags (utm_*, ad click IDs) of your visit so a demo request you submit can carry the campaign that produced it. See the Privacy Policy. | Strictly necessary (service request) | Browser session |
| _ga | Cookie | Google Analytics (set for this site) | Distinguishes visitors for analytics. | Analytics — requires consent | 2 years (per Google's cookie documentation) |
| _ga_<container> | Cookie | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for analytics. | Analytics — requires consent | 2 years (per Google's cookie documentation) |
The Google Analytics entries are taken from Google's current official cookie documentation and appear only after (a) you consent to analytics and (b) the GA4 tag is published in the site's Google Tag Manager container. The observed state in each consent mode is re-verified as part of the site's QA checklist before launch.
5. Third parties
With analytics consent, your browser connects to Google (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com). Google's own information about these technologies: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. Without analytics consent, no Google connection is made by this site.
